Design Hub: Los Angeles

When it comes to design, Los Angeles is top-of-mind for the international community. Similarly, to how the world famous Rodeo Drive relates to the fashion community, the West Hollywood design district has become an iconic and renowned design destination, with world-class appeal. From Fendi Casa, to Minotti, Boffi Italia, Porcelenosa, and many more, this cozy boutique-hood is the go-to for all of LA’s top designers and high-end real estate developments.
What does a colossal sailboat and West Hollywood have in common? The Pacific Design Center, a.k.a the PDC; this gem of a building stands firm at the literal center of the West Hollywood design community. Inspired by the mast of a great sailing ship, the PDC contains hundreds of boutiques, showrooms, and exquisite exhibits to for the unique design eye to come and feast. Our very own founder, Troy Adams once called this designer’s haven home in early 2000’s. The building acts like a beacon, carrying the spirit of designers forward and glowing in the twilight of LA’s sunset.
Thumb through the pages of any prestigious design publication and you’ll almost certainly find a Los Angeles locale for that designer, showroom, or posh product. For a city commonly thought of as an urban jungle with endless sprawl, Los Angeles has certainly defined itself as a major hub to all designer types. Perhaps call it sprawl that makes sense, the redevelopments going on city-wide continue to add flavor and prestige to the design hub of Los Angeles.
